The stage activity will deal with the following issues:

1. Reverse engineering of the driver-board of the Pioneer 3DX, with the objective to build an electrical drawing and substitute the MCU-board with the STM board used in the "Embedded systems" course.
2. Development of the embedded software for handling the driver-board, communicating with an higher-level controller, event logging, watchdogs, etc.
3. Development of a mockup software for an high-level controller, including watchdogs and means of interventions on the hardware alternative to the driver-board, for executing some simple motion.
4. Design of a docking station: integration of QRcode-based localization, implementation of the communication between the docking station and the Pioneer 3DX, etc.
