The setup used on 3 December 2012 is shown in the picture below.

During that day only the Prosilica 1020 camera has been used. We managed to record 18 transits for each car (Volksvagen Polo, Fiat Panda and Alfa Romeo 159) and we have got reliable local solar timestamps for all of them. However, the videos  for the Fiat Panda's transits are a little bit too dark, while those of the Alfa Romeo are so dark that they are barely usable. Anyway, they can be easily fixed increasing the brightness.
